Jesus was about to be arrested and He knew it was going to happen. He knew who had betrayed Him and knew the terrible persecution He was about to face. Jesus predicted His death several times to His disciples.
In Luke 18:31 Jesus took the twelve aside and told them, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.”

Would Jesus be happy walking in your church on Sunday morning, or would He be angry? What would He find? Sleepy believers going through the routine of worship? Would He find believers there ready to engage and worship?
Jesus walked in the Temple in Jerusalem and became angry at what was going on (Mathew 21: 12-13). He found people using this sacred place to sell goods and crowded out the Gentiles from being able to worship.

We thought you might like her chair,” my mom stated. I was touched and told her we would. This floral wingback chair had special meaning, but not more than the woman who sat in it every day for the last few years of her life, one of my mom’s dearest friends, Evelyn.
