The Best Thing To Do Before “Better” Becomes “Worse”

The Best Thing To Do Before “Better” Becomes “Worse”

We are fast approaching June, the wedding month of the year. Countless couples are busy picking out dresses, tuxedos, cakes, photographers, videographers, venues and every detail associated with their wedding and reception. And let’s not forget the wedding showers, bridal luncheons and bachelor and bachelorette parties.

All this preparation becomes a stressful season to produce that magical wedding every girl dreams of. There are times, I’m sure, when they wonder if all the stress and worry is worth it. (more…)

Who Do You Know That’s Watching You?

Who Do You Know That’s Watching You?

anncooke who do you know ask god today pixabaybinoculars-100590_1920“How does she do it?”

“How does he keep going?”

If you have been a Christian for a length of time, people may have asked how you do it.

  • How do you get through a trying season with your teenager with your relationship with them in tact?
  • How did you manage going through such a heartbreaking divorce?
  • How do you manage being married for so long?
  • How do you not fall apart when given devastating news about your health or a loved one’s health?
  • How do you make it in a job you hate?

I managed to get the job of hiding the eggs, so I wouldn’t have to go searching for them later.

When the day arrived, I hid the eggs and then watched and waited as my coworkers went searching. When all the eggs were found and the hunt was done, we spent a few minutes together opening the eggs to find lottery tickets.
