Why Do Prayers Seem To Go Unanswered?

Why Do Prayers Seem To Go Unanswered?

Have you ever prayed that prayer so dear to your heart, and yet it seemed God just chose not to answer?

Or have you ever needed God to answer a prayer, but you got discouraged along the way and stopped praying?

Many have asked the question, “Why doesn’t God answer my prayers?

What I have learned through my own experiences and those of others is that God always answers our prayers, but we might not be open to seeing or hearing His answers—especially if we want Him to answer in a certain way.

Thankful For Freedom

Thankful For Freedom

By Dr. Michelle Bengtson

I’m thankful for freedom. Independence. The liberation from slavery or the power of another. Our creator gives three inalienable rights:

  • The freedom to pursue life

For hundreds of years, brave men and women fought to win and continue to fight to preserve our country’s freedom. I’m grateful for their selfless sacrifice.

As I reflect today on that sacrifice, I hold even greater gratitude for the price paid by my Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave His own life to be crucified on the cross to ensure my freedom for all eternity. (more…)

So much of our history has revolved around agriculture including many of the parables in the Bible.

Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”

When a farmer plants seed, he is intentional about the crop he wishes to harvest. (more…)
