Noah: Living in Fact and Truth

Being human can be hard. Imagine what it must be like to be a hero. Or, as the Bible puts it, to be “men of renown “(Genesis 6:4b). Noah was one such man; he was a hero of his day. When he was born, his family had great expectations for his future. They named him Noah and said, “He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed” (Genesis 5:28b). Noah was destined to accomplish great feats.
Prior to his 600th birthday, very little is recorded about the Noah’s day to day life.
We assume he had some skill as a carpenter and builder. After all, God commissioned him to build one of the most unequaled architectural wonders of the world. We all know that Noah built the Ark, the animals boarded, and Noah and his family then spent the better part of half a year afloat. But, have you ever considered what was going on inside his mind?
