Darcy Cottone

I am Darcy Cottone, a Christian speaker and writer. I like to share my unique view of the world and the Gospel message through humor, drama and scripture. I am in awe over the fact that the very same God who spoke to Abraham and Moses is the same God who cares about every detail of my life and yours. I am a wife and mother of two – roles that I cherish, but roles I am convinced God placed in my life because He knew I would cling to Him for help every step of the way!

I bring a wide range of experiences to my writing as I grew up a small town farm girl turned city girl and have worked in various jobs including corporate training and managing my family’s furniture store. Ten years ago I figured out that serving in ministry and sharing the love of Christ (through volunteering, serving on staff or speaking), was the one job I never tired of. Any time I speak I pray that God merely uses me as the conduit for His message. Since then I have come to know that God’s mercies are new each morning and giddy is the way I describe how I feel when I witness His perfect unfailing love.

Meet Edie Emory. Her knowledge of Jesus and His love started from the time she was born. Because she was raised in a Christian home and taken to church from birth, she realized her need for a Savior early and accepted Christ at the age of five. She received a degree in Communications with a concentration in Print Journalism, and always had the desire to be a writer, but it took a not-so-gentle nudge from the Lord and a giant step of faith to finally make it a reality. Her experience includes several bylines and publications and she authors her own blog at http://www.shewhohasbelieved.com. She also enjoys singing, baking, reading, and watching sports (especially her beloved Atlanta Braves, Clemson Tigers and Carolina Panthers). She lives with her husband Scott and young son Philip in Boiling Springs, SC. She is very involved in her church and is amazed at how the Lord has provided for and blessed her family.

I was saved when I was 5 years old and was blessed to be raised in a Christian home. Haven’t faced anything serious physically but have prayed for healing many times and seen healings in many people. God is faithful, so glad you are a survivor in many ways!
