Overwhelmed In A Crisis? Look For Valuable Lessons

Overwhelmed In A Crisis? Look For Valuable Lessons

The year 2005 was pivotal for me and my husband, Mike. Our son had graduated college and married his sweetheart. They then moved to New Orleans for seminary. On the one hand, I was so happy for them, but on the other hand I was going through a grieving process, missing my only son terribly. A sudden split in the curtain separating the Holy of Holies from the common man created quite a stir amidst the temple priests. And an earthquake shook the area, causing rocks to split and graves to open. Many bodies of saints who had gone to their rest were raised. A centurion guard had even exclaimed, “This man really was God’s son!” (Matthew 27:54) Certainly the day was to go down in history as one to never be forgotten. (more…)
